Obituary of Rose Story

Rose Story (Lutz) was born on September 20, 1940, at the farm by Mildred Saskatchewan, and passed peacefully away on March 28, 2025, at the age of 84.

 Rose married Creston Story on July 5,1957. Together they farmed by Ranger Saskatchewan and raised their family there. Rose was a member of the Ranger Lady’s Club for many years. In later years Rose was an active member of Lakeland Community Church and the Belbutte Full Gospel Church.

Rose had a kind heart and was always willing to help neighbors, she loved to visit with friends and family, and gardening. Rose particularly had a soft spot for and loved babies and small children.

Rose is lovingly remembered by her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

 Her daughter Barbara Rose Story and partner Dennis Todor

Her son Joseph Steven Story and partner Melissa Dawn Marie Story.

Her grandchildren Mathew Story, Joshua Story, Cherie Rice, Dawn Marie Rice, Sean Rice, Ruby Story, Hunter Matt

Her Great-grandchildren Clark Stewart, Quinn Stewart

Rose will also be remembered by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews, as well as many lifelong friends.

Rose was predeceased by her husband, Creston Joseph Story, still born son, her son David Creston Story, sister Anne Story (Lutz), brother Paul Lutz, niece Vernell Story, great niece Roxanne Story (BeeBee), and grandson Thomas Story

She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
