Lynn Marie Herzog

Lynn Marie Herzog, late of Abbotsford, BC, passed away on April 29, 2024, in Abbotsford, BC, at the age of 55 years.

Lynn was born November 2, 1968, and raised in Prince Albert, SK, attending schools in the Catholic System, St. Michael’s (Grades 1-6), Boucher Junior High (Grades 7-9), and then graduating from St. Mary’s in 1986. Lynn attended SIAST and received her diploma in 1987.  It was during her high school years that she made lifelong friendships with Christine (Koeberlin) Emery, and Sheri Larsen, and these endured the test of time and distance as their lives went in different directions.

On July 22, 1991, Lynn welcomed her son Brenden and was a very proud, young mother until tragedy took his little life on January 10, 1993. She then had Kaiden October 22, 1993, and once again was so proud of her son and the young man he has become. 

Her career with PAPS began in 1997 until 2007 at which time she moved to Abbotsford, BC and spent the last 17 years. She started a new chapter with RCMP, where she worked in many different departments until her passing.

Lynn is survived by her son, Kaiden Herzog (Miranda); her brothers, Larry (Barb) Vandale and Darrell Herzog; her sister Pamela Herzog; her nephews, Shawn Herzog (Marichka) and their son Daniel, and nephew Shane Herzog; as well as aunts, cousins, friends, and coworkers.

She was predeceased by her son, Brenden Herzog; parents, Ken and Gloria Herzog; her beloved fur companion, Zodiak; and numerous other relatives.

Our family will never be the same without you Sis! You too are loved and will be missed!!
