Garry Reinhardt

Obituary of Garry Ewoadt Reinhardt

It is with incredible sadness that we announce the passing of our wonderful dad Garry Ewoald Reinhardt.  Dad passed away peacefully on June 22, 2025 just 5 weeks after the passing of his beloved wife Peggy.

Garry grew up on the family farm near LeRoy SK with his twin brother Larry, his sister Janet and brother Danny.  He became a Chartered Accountant and even after retirement he enjoyed doing the accounting for Messiah Lutheran Church right until this spring. Garry loved to golf, fish, and curl and he had just finished curling with his senior team a week before his diagnosis.

Dad will be lovingly remembered by his children, Angela (Michael) and Jeremy; his grandchildren, Zachary, Chloe, Theran, and Leanne. Garry will also be dearly missed by his siblings, Janet (Bill) Headrick, Danny (Vaudree) Reinhardt; his sister in-law, Sandra Reinhardt; his in-laws, Ken (Donna) O’Neill, Allan O’Neill, Bill (Lorraine) O’Neill, and Randy (Cindy) O’Neill, Barbara O'Neill; as well as his many nieces and nephews.

Garry was predeceased by his wife, Margaret “Peggy” Reinhardt; his parents, Ewalt and Ella Reinhardt, his brother, Larry; as well as his in-laws, Jerry, Jim, AnnaMae, Adele and Bev.

Together Forever:

Garry and Peggy were inseparable for 58 years, their love was a testament to enduring partnership and companionship. They built a life together filled with love, laughter, and unwavering support for one another and their family.  The sudden passing of Peggy while coming to terms with his Glioblastoma diagnosis was very hard for dad, but he held their love and memories they shared close as he waited to be with her again. We know mom was getting things ready and that they are now together forever, their souls reunited.

A  Celebration of Life will be held for Garry and Peggy at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 3, 2025, at Messiah Lutheran Church, 1796 15th Ave E, Prince Albert, SK.  Lunch will follow the Interment at the church hall.
