All of his life Gaetan loved hockey whether playing it, watching it or talking about it, he truly loved it. More than anything he loved his Montréal Canadians…. oh lordy, lordy he did love them.
In his later years, Gaetan enjoyed riding his motorcycle, playing cards, especially crib, and spending time at the lake with his kids and his grandkids.
Gaetan was diagnosed with chronic lymphatic leukaemia 24 years ago and battled multiple types of cancer and other illnesses with extreme courage and strength. Throughout those years of suffering, he was always so grateful for all of the prayers and concern shown by family and friends
