Obituary of Michael John Stevens
Michael Stevens
January 28th, 1959 - August 15th, 2025
Our family is saddened to announce that our beloved Dad, Grandfather, Brother, Uncle and Friend, Michael John Stevens, passed suddenly on August 15, 2025, at City Hospital in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.
Michael was predeceased by his brother, Trent Stevens; and his father, Richard Stevens. Michael is survived by and will be terribly missed by his children, Thomas, Cameron and Scott Stevens; his brothers, Bill and Robin Stevens; his sisters, Anne Loroff and Patti Blazic; his mother, Bonnie Stevens; his ex-wife, Alecia Stevens; his grandchildren, Benjamin and Theodore-Beau Stevens, Aria Powell and Brooklyn Seip, Jaxon, Avery and Aurora Stevens; his lovely daughters-in-law, Shana Stevens, Kristen Stevens and Kristen Copeland; and many nieces and nephews.
Michael moved to Edmonton in the mid-90s where he spent seven years of which he was very fond. In the late 90s he returned to Saskatchewan, moving to Saskatoon to be closer to his children, parents and family. In the early and mid-2000s, he and his son Thomas lived together while Thomas attended the University of Saskatchewan, enjoying many football Sundays together. In 2013, Michael moved to Kelowna where he spent very fond years enjoying walks along Lake Okanagan and spending time with his sons Cameron and Scott, along with Cameron's wife Kristen and their children. In 2021, Michael moved back to Saskatoon to live with Scott and Shana Stevens, close to his children and grandchildren once more. Michael was a wonderful father and grandfather who loved spending time with his children and grandchildren. Michael formed close bonds with his three daughters-in-law, sharing in his own and their interests. Michael above all else was one of our closest friends, and he leaves us all an incredible unforgettable legacy of love that none of us will ever forget.
