Wade Lehner

Obituary of Wade Thomas Lehner

The family of Wade Lehner sadly announce his passing on August 21, 2025, at the age of 58 years.  Wade was born on July 27, 1967, and raised in Prince Albert.  From an early age, since he could walk, Wade’s love for sports was powerful. His passion for hockey and racquetball led him to great heights, achieving a Canadian Top 3 ranking for Men’s Racquetball. Wade’s love of sports did not stop at playing on a national level, he also spent many years coaching at the highest levels. Growing up, Wade spent endless summers at the family cabin at Emma Lake, enjoying fishing, waterskiing and kneeboarding.

When it came to detailing vehicles, from RVs and boats, to cars and trucks, Wade was a master craftsman, making each one appear just like new.

Wade dearly loved his nieces, Arianna and Karlee, and nephews Brayden and Chase. Birthdays, Christmas and holidays never went uncelebrated, and a text or phone call was always guaranteed from “Uncle Wade” on those special days.

Wade is survived by his parents, Tom and Jeanette Lehner; his brothers, Brad (Carey) Lehner, and their children, Karlee and Chase; Dean (Gaby) Lehner, and their children, Brayden & Arianna.

In keeping with Wade’s wishes, no formal service will be held.
