Lucille Tremblay
1935-2025
Lucille Marie Tremblay, late of Debden, SK, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 30, 2025 at the age of 89 years.
Lucille was born and raised on the family farm in Eldred, Saskatchewan. In 1957 she married the love of her life, Guy, and together they raised their family in Debden, SK. In retirement, Guy and Lucille settled in the beautiful cabin they built together at Morin Lake, SK. At the time of her death Lucille was living at Whispering Pines Place in Canwood, SK where she received excellent care and treatment.
For most of her career, Lucille worked as a bank teller at the Debden Credit Union where she was known for her kindness and integrity. Throughout her life, Lucille was involved in her community as a volunteer with the Ladies Club, sports associations and both the Debden and Victoire parishes. Her caring nature and willingness to serve touched the lives of many around her. Family was her top priority and she loved nothing more than supporting her children and grandchildren, cheering them on from the sidelines in their sports and activities. Her pride and joy were evident in every moment she spent with family and her love and support left a lasting impression on all who knew her.
Lucille is survived by her daughter, Diane (Barry) Mazurkewich and their children: Teryn (Conner) Cruson, their son Everett and daughters Ainsley and Mara; Todd Mazurkewich; her daughter Julie (Tim) Poelzer and their children: Thalia (Lee Hubbard) Bradford and sons Jackson, Garin and Breckin; Tristine (Kyle) Foss and their son Clark; Jordan (Sarah) Poelzer and their children Cooper, Joni and Sadie; her daughter Monique (Rick Sauve) Tatum and her children Joelle and Matthew; her son Maurice (Sandee) Tremblay and their children Marlee and Max; her daughter Mel (Stan) Amundson and their children: Camryn (Sterling) Kerr and their son Cassian; Jett (Faith) Amundson; Rhyan. She is also survived by her sister, Evelyne Durette and her sisters and brothers in law: Mariette Tremblay; Gilles (Monique) Tremblay; Luc Tremblay; Paulin (Celine) Tremblay; Sr. Celine Tremblay; Cecile Beaulac; Mariette (Robert) Lyons; Estelle (Darwin Dressler) Tremblay.
She was predeceased by her husband of 63 years, Guy Tremblay; her granddaughter Shaye Amundson; her parents Rodolphe and Delvina Beaulac; her parents in law Arthur and Leonie Tremblay; her siblings Annette (Eugene) Brassard, Therese (Paul) Demers, Leo (Rose) Beaulac, Roland (Alice) Beaulac, Marcel (Therese, Rose) Beaulac, Raymond (Reine) Beaulac, Claire (George) Charpentier, Denis (Barb) Beaulac: her sisters and brothers in law Leonide Durette, Archille Beaulac, Bibiane (Denis) Blais, Annette Tremblay, Leon Tremblay, Claire Tremblay and Denise Tremblay.
A Celebration of Life for Lucille will be held on Friday, September 5, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. at the St. Jean Baptiste church in Debden.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in memory of Lucille to either the Debden Heritage Manor (Box 608 Debden, SK S0J 0S0) or to the Canwood & District Bus Association (Box 130 Canwood, SK S0J 0K0).
