Obituary of Martin John Krip

Martin John Krip 

August 18, 1945 – October 9, 2025

It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Martin John Krip late of Prince Albert, SK, formerly of Meath Park, SK, on October 9th, 2025 at the age of 80. Martin was raised in Meath Park, SK being one of three children of Mary and John Krip and attended school in Meath Park. In 1966 Martin married his loving wife Sandra of 48 years and in 1967 they were blessed with a son Curtis. Eventually they settled on the farm where Martin farmed and worked up north and they later moved into Meath Park. Martin thoroughly enjoyed spending time with his family and friends but he especially embraced his role as grandpa to his three granddaughters, Brittni, Erika and Brooklyn, whom he could not be prouder of. 

Martin will be lovingly remembered by his granddaughters Brittni Butts (Alex Butts) and great-granddaughter Kodi Butts, Erika Krip (Brennan Werrett) and Brooklyn Krip (Gille Lavoie) and daughter-in-law, Linda Krip; his sister Sophie (Don) Seiberling; special friend Marlene Panas; sister-in-laws Joyce (David) Krivoblocki and Marie Bekolay; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. 

He was predeceased by his wife Sandra Krip, son Curtis Krip, mother and father Mary and John Krip, sister Anne Krawec and brother-in-law Morris Krawec, brothers-in-law Terry Bekolay and Roy Bekolay, mother-in-law and father-in-law Ruby and Nick Bekolay.  

A Private Graveside Service will be held.  In lieu of other tributes, donations can be made to the RUH Foundation (Neurology).
