Obituary of Joan Helene Robertson

July 3, 1929 – November 3, 2025

Joan Helene Robertson passed away quietly at the Lakeview Pioneer Lodge in Wakaw at the age of 96 years.  Joan is survived by her children, Diane (Garth) Sayer, Carol (Fred) Thorpe, Sue (Gord) Lyons and Don Robertson; her grandchildren, Megan (Johnny MacMillan) Black, Liana Warke, Tammy (Warren) Blair, Cherise Robertson, Erin (Blair) Simpson, Chris (Beauvon) Thorpe, Kelly (Shayne) Basaraba, Jessica (Steve) Pittis and Dale (Jes) Lyons; her great-grandchildren, Andrea and Devin Blair, Alexis Robertson, Brady, Isabelle and Blake Simpson, Kaiden, Tayler and Chace Thorpe, Otis, Ivy, and Aldo Basaraba, and Connor, Quinn and Kallan Pittis; and her nephews, Ken and Mike Freeland.  Joan was predeceased by her parents, Lee and Marguerite Dodds; her husband, Ian; her son, Craig; her sister, Mary Dodds; her brother, Bill Dodds; her parents-in-law, James and Anne Robertson; sister-in-law, Silvia; and brother-in-law, Don Freeland.  She was loved and will be sadly missed by her family.
