1929 - 2024

In loving memory of Eva Fernande Crossland was born December 3, 1929, St. Denis, SK and passed away April 25, 2024, Leoville, SK at 94 years of age.

Eva is lovingly remembered by: her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren: Sylvia Orieux and her children: Claudelle Orieux (Donnie) - Dustyn, Brandon (Ashleigh), and Ryan, Vince (Wendy) Orieux - Dillon and Jake, Rod (Karla) Orieux - Colton, Alyx, Carter, and Riley, Pauline Thiel and her children: Nadine (Tim) Bryant - Anna and Ashton, Cindy (Treana Tuchscherer) Thiel - Stephen (Asja) Markser, Kevin (Randie) Thiel and children: Ethan, Taylor and Nikolas, her siblings: Raymonde Bouchard, Rolande Poulin, Simone Chase, Liliane Gerard, Anne Marie Compagna, Paul (Lorraine) Denis, Ernest (Doris) Denis, Claude (Sue) Denis, Celine Doucette, Cecile (Sid) Klics, and Charles (Deanna) Denis, her sisters-in-law: Alison Denis and Yvette Denis also numerous other nieces, nephews cousins, and friends.

She was predeceased by her parents: Louis and Laurette Denis, her husbands: Lucien Bruneau and Albert Crossland, her great-grandson: Samuel Thiel, her sons in-law: Gerry Orieux and Robert Thiel, her brothers: Gilbert Denis and Armand Denis, her sister in-law: Glenda Denis, her brothers in-law: Albert Bouchard, Leo Poulin, Murray Chase, Roland Gerard, Real Compagna, and Wilfred Doucette.

A Funeral Mass was celebrated Monday, May 6, 2024 - 11:00 am Ste. Therese Roman Catholic Church, Leoville, SK with Father Ramel Macapala as celebrant.  Candle bearers were Brandon Prkusic and Stephen Marsker, the cross bearer was Kevin Thiel, altar servers were Tenley Vandale and Chloe Corriveau, gift bearers were Carter Orieux and Jake Orieux.  The Eulogy was given by Adele Craswell, music ministry was provided by Gilles Francoeur, Shanda Laventure and Courtney Cochet.

Honorary pallbearers were considered “All of the Great-Grandchildren”, urn bearers were Vince Orieux, Claudelle Orieux, Nadine Bryant, and Cindy Thiel.

Eva’s final resting place is in the Peaceful Pines Cemetery.

Memorial donations may be made Residents and Family Council, c/o Evergreen Health Centre in memory of Eva Crossland as tokens of remembrance.
