Douglas Bruce McKenzie August 1962 - December 2013 Doug was born august 19, 1962 and after a hard fight with cancer he passed away in Shellbrook Hospital on December 6, 2013 at the age of 51. Doug is survived by his children; Hailey(Chad ) Stark and their children – Mikaela, Dominic & Chanelle of Lloydminster, SK; Lance(Jenna Lungal) of Russell, MB; and Sarah Keenatch; his parents – Ted & Yvonne McKenzie of Big River, SK, his sisters; Shannon(Trevor Wrill) Bognar of Cold Lake, AB; Crystal (Rick ) Reimer of Big River, SK; his brothers; Trent (Linda) McKenzie of Big River, SK, Kirby McKenzie of Big River, SK, Joel (Cara) McKenzie of Big River, SK, and his many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, great nieces, nephews, great nephews, friends and co-workers. Doug was pre-deceased by his grandparents, Charles & Emily McKenzie, a grandmother Margaret Pruden, an Aunt Deanna Dunn and a brother-in-law Terry Bognar. Doug will be fondly remembered for his constant smile and sense of humor. Memorial Donations can be made in Doug’s honor to the Secret Santa or to a charity of choice. A Memorial Service will be held for Doug at a later date.
