Lorna Sasakamoose 1933 - 2014 With heartfelt sadness, the family of Lorna Sasakamoose, late of Ahtahkakoop First Nation, announce her sudden passing on Saturday, Oct. 11, 2014 at the age of 81. The Wake Service for Lorna will commence on Sunday, Oct. 12, 2014 at 3:30 p.m. from the Ahtahkakoop First Nation Band Hall, and the Funeral Service will be on Tues. Oct. 14, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. from the Band Hall as well. Rev. Marj Hyman will officiate, and the interment will be in the St. Mark's Anglican Cemetery. Lorna is lovingly remembered by: Her husband, Gerald Sanderson; Her sons and daughters: Keith Sasakamoose (Eunice); Kenneth Sasakamoose (Natelie); Ronnie Sasakamoose; Roland Sasakamoose (Brenda); Mitchell Sasakamoose; Dwayne Sasakamoose (Catherine); Suzanne (Dale) Halcro; Penny Sasakamoose; Leanne (Joe) Grimard; Kim Sasakamoose (Pat); Shelley Little (Blake); Her special grandsons: Jordan Sasakamoose, Devon Bailey, Joshua Sasakamoose, Alexander Costillo, Keegan Sasakamoose; A special great granddaughter, Nadine Sasakamoose; Her siblings: Leonard (Marianne); Leo; Louise; Leona; Alvin (Dorothy); Vern (Ruth); Ken (Ruby); Norma (Joe); Vivian (Chip); Numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
