First met Judy in the girls washroom at the old central school in glace bay at an assembly being held their. It was soon after my father passed away and I was looking for a little alone time.It so happened Judy was there hiding away for reasons of her own. The toilets were in the center of the room so you could walk around them Just as we were making friendly conversation in ran Jean rose and jean mary like little demons on a bad sugar rush they had several ice creams cups and ran several rounds around those toilets stalls and just as I was wondering who these kid belong too they in front of Judy asking for money to buy more ice cream. Just then Linda came in, her brows pulled together and an angry scowl on her face.Those who remember Linda know that in them there days smiles and laughter were rear expressions seen on her face.I was so disconcerted by the mad race around the toilets and the angry looks I asked Judy if she was Linda Mother instead of Sister which is what I meant to say.I could never convince Judy of that though when threw the years she would say remember when you thought I was Linda's mother.when the convention ended Sunday night I didn't see Judy again until Mary and Art were getting married some 7yrs. later. However we picked-up our friendship right were we left off until a few days ago when she fell asleep in death. Hopefully it will be only a few short years until we can resume that friendship again and this time our friendship will never end!

Ken, I am one of the Homecare Nurses that always looked forward to coming to provide care for Judy! She always had a smile for me and usually a compliment on what I was wearing or how I smelled!
I want to tell you that you did a great job of caring for Judy! And also I loved your jokes!
I am going to miss coming to your home! I especially will miss Judy's wave good bye at the end of every nursing visit!
Blessings! And may God provide you with all you need as you grieve! Joyce

Dear Ken, Cara, Brian and Crystal;
We were sorry to hear of Judy's passing. She was too young in our minds but we're hoping she is now at peace. We know this is a terribly sad time for everyone and wanted to let you know we are thinking of you all here in the east. May you draw comfort from the happy times you shared with Judy and the memories we have all had from knowing and loving her. If there's anything you need, let us know.
Love Mary and Tera
