Obituary of Adrienne Henri

In Loving Memory of Adrienne Henri June 17, 1921-October 23,2014 Our Mom, Adrienne was born to Edmond and Flore Paquette in Debden,Sk. Later they moved to Victoire then Laventure where she enjoyed learning at a country school. She attended Prudhomme convent for one year. Mom worked at various jobs, her favourite being the Leoville telephone exchange. In 1942 she married Edmond Henri. Together they worked hard in the lumber business running a saw mill, farming and being caretakers of a school. They raised six children and fostered a couple girls. Mom enjoyed gardening, cooking, sewing, quilting, knitting, reading and staying in touch with family and friends. She welcomed company often serving a home cooked meal. Mom lived in Leoville since 1947 and loved her community, glad to return after a short move to Debden Heritage Manor. Our Mother's strong Faith in the Lord Jesus Christ was always evident .We are thankful for her example and guide for our lives. Adrienne was predeceased by her parents, husband, infant daughter Marie and siblings Annette (Fernand) Henri, Rosaire & Albert Paquette, Emelie (Robert) Laitres, Urbaine, Rock & Leo Paquette, Alice( Paul) Ruel and brother- in -law Lionel Lafond. She is survived by her children Cecile (Doug) Sias, Rene (Gladys) Henri, Albert (Annemieke) Henri, Denise (Bryan) Pedersen, Lisette (Paul) Smith, Mariette (Rick) Lemieux & Lorraine Charbonneau, several grand, great and great-great grand-children, her sister Maria Lafond and sisters-in-law Rebecca, Claire, Evelyn and Alice Paquette, numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives. Thank you to the staff at Evergreen Health Centre for the loving care provided during her six month stay. Her life was celebrated with a Funeral Mass on October 28, 2014 at the St. Therese Roman Catholic Church in Leoville. Interment followed in Leoville Cemetery.
