Obituary of Daniel Henry Joseph Boisson
Daniel “Danny” Henry Joseph Boisson
1953 – 2014
It is with extreme sorrow and sadness that we announce the passing of Danny Boisson on Friday December 5th, 2014 at the age of 61. He was the most wonderful husband, father, grandfather, son, uncle and friend you could ask for. The second of five children, Danny was born July 27, 1953 to George and Florence Boisson in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan. Growing up, Danny spent much of his time playing hockey and fastball. He will be fondly remembered for his involvement on and off the ice and at the ball diamonds. He worked with his dad at Boisson Cartage and then worked at P.A. Bottlers, Kindersley Transport and for the last several years at Ridsdale Transport. Danny met Lorraine Pilon and instantly knew she was the one. They were married on August 30, 1975 in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan. They went on to have three beautiful children, Cory, Robby and Cindy to whom he was very proud of. From their beginning in sports Danny coached their hockey and fastball teams and spent many days watching Cindy play ringette. He loved all his nieces and nephews and especially his grandchildren. Danny and Lorraine loved to go to their games and cheer them on at any sport they played, all they had to do was call and they would be there! Danny was a quiet soul but he knew how to tease everyone and he would spend endless hours at family gatherings teasing his nieces and nephews. We will miss his laugh, his smile and his lovingly joking way. Danny and Lorraine were always together. They mostly enjoyed ice fishing and going to Regina for Roughrider games. Danny is survived by his wife Lorraine (nee Pilon); his sons Cory (Taryn Rieger) and her children Brayden and Logan Rieger; Robby (Shawna) and their children Marley and Jake; and daughter Cindy (Kirk Wilson); his father George Boisson; his brothers Wayne (Fern) and Kelly (Karen) and his sisters Wanita (Reg) Smears and Darlene, his mother-in-law Georgette Pilon; sisters-in-law and brother-in-law Dezilda (Doug) Jackow, Cecile (Denis) Mauvieux, Carol Gareau (Normand Poulin), Kenny (Rita) Pilon, Paulette (Danny) Gareau, numerous nieces and nephews, other relatives and countless friends. Danny was predeceased by his grandparents Peter (Julia) Deschambeault, Raymond (Agatha) Boisson, his mother Florence Boisson (nee Deschambeault), his father-in-law Arsene Pilon, his nephew Jamie Mauvieux and niece Celine Nelson (nee Mauvieux). You will be missed always and in our hearts forever. We love you and miss you and our lives will never be the same without you! A Public Visitation will be held from 7:00 p.m.-9:00 p.m. Friday, December 12th, 2014.
