Obituary of Lawrence Richard Booth
It is with deep sorrow that the family of Lawrence Booth announces his passing at the Spiritwood and District Health Complex on January 18, 2007 at the age of 87. Lawrence will be missed and lovingly remembered by his loving wife of 59 years, Myrtle; his children Myrtle (Sam) Teer of Meadow Lake, SK and their children Merle (Randy) Gervais, Elmer (Leanne) Teer, Bonnie (Kim) McAmmond, Donna (Lars) Jenzen; Lawrence (Bonnie) Booth of Meadow Lake, SK and their children Wade and Warren; Patricia (Walter) Tracz of Spiritwood, SK and their children Tammy(Darren) Senum, Tim (Brandi) Mighton, Randal (Dee) Tracz, Tasha Tracz; Judy (Oryst) Nazarko of Bawlf, AB and their children Christee (John) Langkamp, Chance (Jaymee) Nazarko, Chase Nazarko (Leah Asher); Colleen (Alain) Polard of Sylvan Lake, AB and their children Iris Booth and AJ Polard; Bruce (Karen) Booth of Spiritwood, SK and their children Marli Booth (Brent Turgeon), Melanie (Sheldon) Gatzke and Katherine Booth; Roger (Debra) Booth of Spiritwood, SK and Patrick (Laureen) Booth of Spiritwood, SK and their children Karstin and Bohdan; 27 great grandchildren; his sister Phyllis Atkinson of Spiritwood, SK; his brother Clare (Kathleen) Booth of Spiritwood, SK as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Lawrence was predeceased by his two sons Elmer and Roy, his granddaughter Agnes Teer, his parents Herbert and Phoebe Booth, his sisters Ida (Gus) Pearson and Susan (Doug) Grant, his brothers Herb (Julia) Booth and Gerald Booth, his infant sister Annie and his infant brother. The memorial service was held on Tuesday, January 23rd, 2007 at 2 p.m. from the Spiritwood Civic Centre with Louis Schalm as the officiant. The eulogy was read by Marguerite Erlandson. Honorary pallbearers were all relatives and friends who shared in Lawrence's life and the urn bearer was Karstin Booth. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Saskatchewan or Saskatchewan Cancer Agency.
