Obituary of Rachel Fonos

Rachel Marcella Fonos passed away suddenly from undetected medical problems on Sunday morning March 11, 2007. Rachel brought sunshine into everyone's lives with her ready smile and kind heart. She was very artistic, loved animals, excelled at school and enjoyed having fun with her family and friends. Rachel leaves to cherish her memory her mother and father, Ken and Lisa Fonos (Sopotyk), twin sister Samatha and brother Kyle; paternal grandparents John & Marcella Fonos; Uncles & Aunties Howard (Norine) Fonos of Sled Lake, SK; Jon (Tara) of Dore Lake, SK; Arnold (Connie) Fonos of Whitecourt, AB; Gerald (Darlene) Fonos of Ft. McMurray; Kelly Fonos of Whitecourt, AB; Wayne (Barb) Sopotyk of Prud'homme; Sharon Mantyka of Saskatoon, SK & numerous cousins, great aunts & uncles and many school friends. Rachel is predeceased by her maternal grandparents Walter & Delores Sopotyk and great grandparents on both sides. Viewing will take place at the Big River Community Hall on Wednesday, March 14, 2007 at 11 a.m. The Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday March 17, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Jake McCrea officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to "Fonos Donations" at the Big River/Debden Credit Union or Chay's in Big River.
