Dear Cathy and Family,
I was quite shocked to hear of Darren's Passing. I am very sorry, but I did not hear until the day after the funeral service, otherwise I would have done my very best to be in attendance. I want to pass my sincere sympathies on to you and your family. Darren and I were childhood friends, and even though we had lost touch in recent years, I considered Darren one of my dearest friends. Cathy, having known Darren my whole life, I feel compelled to tell you, that You were probably the Best Thing that ever happened to Darren in his life here on Earth. Darren told me that more than once, but more importantly, I could see it in his eyes every day. May God Bless you and your Family. If you ever get down Estevan way, please look me up.
