Cheryl Lynn Bear 1983 - 2015 With sadness in their hearts the family of Cheryl Lynn Bear announce her passing on August 31, 2015 at the young age of 32 years. The Wake Services for Cheryl commenced on Wednesday, Sept. 2, 2015 at 8:00 p.m. from the Big River First Nation Band Hall. The Funeral Service took place on Friday, Sept. 4, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. from the Band Hall as well. Cheryl is lovingly survived by, her children, Faron Bear, Allison Bear, Brooklyn Bear, Tristan Bear, Keanu Bear, Lanaya Bear, Leland Bear and Haillee Bear; her parents Freda Bear and Terry Oxibin; her sisters Charmaine Bear; Cherish Oxibin; her brothers Lyle (Charmaine) Bear; and Corey Falcon; her uncles Richard Bear (Denise Katceech); Francis Bear; Howard Bear; and Eddie Bear; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives. She is predeceased by her uncle Douglas Bear; her aunties Beverly Bear; Janice Bear; and Gloria Bear; her cousin Derrick Smallboy; her grandmothers Alice Bear and Nancy Rabbitskin; and her grandfather George Bear.
