Obituary of Mary Louise Eleanor Primeau

Mary Primeau 1933-2015 It is with heavy hearts, yet fond memories that the family of Mary Primeau announce her passing on the 9th day of October 2015 at the age of 82 years. Mary was on July 21, 1933 at Mistawasis First Nation to Francis Ledoux & Charlotte (Lottie) Bird. Mary leaves to cherish her memory: Her children: Louis (Sheila); Irma (Graham); Geraldine (John); Alvin (Connie); Larry (Bonnie); Lester (Heather); Elmer (Lorna); Gerald (Lydia); Darwin (Rose); Joanne (Dwayne); Her stepdaughters: Silna Desjarlais & Delphine Black; Her brothers: Philip Ledoux (Shirley); Vernon Bird (Nancy); Angus Bird (Nancy); Clifford Bird; Harry Bird; Her sisters-in-law: Georgina (Richard) Greyeyes, Esther (Morris) Beaton, Theresa Primeau, Lillian Koller; her brother in-law, Lloyd (Joanne) Primeau; Her special friends: Mabel Pechawis, Bernice Fendelep, Maxine, and Cheryl Omani; Numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, great, great grandchildren, other relatives and friends. She is predeceased by: Her husband, Leonard Primeau; Her parents, Francis Ledoux & Charlotte (Lottie) Bird; Her children: Charles (Edward) Bird, Bruce Duquette, Brian Primeau & Glen Primeau; Her brothers & sisters: Beatrice Bruno, Wilma Bird, Alvina Villebrun, Sylvia Pavelco, Flora Albert, Arthur Ledoux, Ralph Ledoux, Henry Ledoux, Ivan Bird, Albert Bird, Rolland Bird, Ronny Bird. The Wake service for Mary took place on Saturday, October 10, 2015 at 6:30 p.m. from the Mistawasis First Nation Family Centre. The Mass of Christian Burial for Mary took place on Monday, Oct. 12, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. with Celebrant Father Mick Fleming CSSR. Readers were Cheryl Omani, MOnica Ledoux and Shane Roper; the eulogy was read by Carrie Soosay & Priscilla Wolfe. Honorary pallbearers were "all family and friends who knew and loved Mary". The active pallbearers were, Glenn Johnstone, Sheldon Primeau, Trevor Primeau, Trevor Ermine, Gerald Jr. Primeau, and Arend Pechawsis.
