Obituary of Adrian Denis

Adrian Denis passed away peacefully surrounded by the love and comfort of his family. Adrian is survived by his daughter Sheila (Warren) Albus and their children Elissa, Marie, Morgan, Kayla, Spencer and Hannah of Langham, SK; his sons Kerry Denis (Geraldine) and his children Desieree, Shyla and Tyler of Calgary, AB and Todd Denis (Leona) of Vancouver, BC; his great grandchildren Riley, Brayden and Kyra; his 13 brothers and sisters and their spouces and many nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles, cousins and friends. Adrian was predeceased by his wife Elsie, his parents Roger & Marie Anne Denis, his brother Rene and his nephew Shawn Gregoire. The prayer service was held on Tuesday, June 12, 2007 at 7:30 p.m. from the St. Therese R. C. Church in Leoville, SK. Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Wednesday, June 13th, 2007 at 10 a.m. from the St. Therese R. C. Church with Rev. Fr. Lennard Sabio as the celebrant. The cross bearers were Hannah and Spencer Albus. Ed Samson was the music director and Doris Daniels was the organist. A solo, Amazing Grace, was performed by Sheila Denis-Albus. Honorary pall bearers were Adrian's colleagues, the Iron Workers, as well as all relatives and friends. The active pall bearers were his brothers Albert, Roland, Leo, Alain and Rosaire and his God-son Gilles Lavallee. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society. Adrian was cremated and laid to rest in the Leoville Cemetery.
