Obituary of Esther Ehrstien

Esther Ehrstien 1930 - 2015 With sadness filling their hearts, the family of Esther Ehrstien, late of Shellbrook, announce her peaceful passing on Saturday, October 24, 2015 at the age of 84. Esther was born in the Aldina District near Leask to Irma (nee: Sebestyen) & Steven Sokola. Esther is lovingly survived by her children, Elma (Elmer) Hill of Saskatoon, SK and children, Lori (Craig) Keller of Saskatoon, SK and their children, Kayla & Kendal; Kelly (Lauretta) Stephens of Saskatoon, SK and children, Devlin & Chayzen; Roger (Lynne) Ehrstien of Smithers, BC and their son, Dale Ehrstien (Samantha) of Prince George, BC; Eva (Ken) Stene of Shellbrook, SK and children, Annette Stene (Wade) of Biggar, SK and her daughters, Holly & Hannah; Kimberly (Shane) McLeod of Shell Lake, SK and children, Shaemus & Keeley; Connie Bahnuik of Canwood, SK and her children, Colton, Kiara, Hansy &Hauk; Ken Stene (Terri) of Lloydminister, SK and children Haley & Julia; as well as many close friends. Esther is predeceased by her parents, Steven & Irma Sokola; her first husband, Steve Dutchak; her second husband, Jack Ehrstien; her grandson, Jeffery Stephens; her parents-in-law. As for Esther's wishes, there will be a Private Family Celebration at a later date. In lieu of tributes, memorial donations may be made in memory of Esther to either the Silvergrove Lutheran Church or to the Parkside Immanuel Lutheran Church.
