Obituary of Harvey Mitchell

Mr. Harvey Mitchell, age 87, late of Shellbrook, passed away in Victoria Union Hospital in Prince Albert on Sunday, July 15, 2007. The funeral service was held at Knox United Church in Shellbrook on Saturday, July 21 at 1:00 pm with Pastor Leigh Sinclair as the officiant. Harvey leaves to mourn, his children, Bruce (Charlene) Mitchell of Hepburn, Denelda Mitchell of Saskatoon, Terry (Debbie) Mitchell of Saskatoon; his grandchildren, Michelle (Lyle) Loeppky of Osler and their children Jonathon, Michael, Kendel, Nicholas, Gail Mitchell-Currie (Paul) of Saskatoon and their children Sabrinna, Madalynn, Bradley Grayson of Saskatoon, Daniel Mitchell of Saskatoon, Shawn Mitchell of Calgary, Jennifer (Shawn) Burlinghame of Saskatoon and their children Presley, Emma, Andrew (Jennifer) Mitchell of Saskatoon, Steven (Diana) Mitchell of Saskatoon; a sister Laura May Yakiwchuk of Winnipeg. He was predeceased by his dear wife, Barbara (nee: Stubbington); three grandchildren, Lee Mitchell, William Mitchell, Christopher Mitchell; his parents, Mary and Harry Mitchell; his brothers, Sidney, Arnold, Lockhart, Elmer, Raymond; two sisters, Myrtle Johnson, Pearl Michailuk; his in-laws, Fredrick and Sarah Stubbington; a sister-in-law Mabel Mitchell; a brother-in-law Fredrick Stubbington, Allan Stubbington. The pallbearers were Lyle Loeppky, Paul Currie Bradley Grayson, Shawn Mitchell, Steven Mitchell, Andrew Mitchell. The honorary pallbearers were all of his friends and relatives who shared in Harvey's life. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society. Harvey was laid to rest in the Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Prince Albert.
