1936 – 2016
Shirley Mae Millis passed away peacefully on January 5, 2016 at the Victoria Hospital after a brief illness. Shirley is survived by daughter Shirley Sumners and her family Michael Durston (Kacey), Sarah Jane (Zachary) Carter, Daniel Sumners, Hannah Sumners, Gabriel Sumners (Daylin) and son Jonah; daughter Katherine (Rick) Butler and family Chad, Jesse (Jayda) and Kurtis; son Blaine (Sandy) Millis and family Cameron (Lisa) Smith and children Breanne and Brooke, Jacqueline Smith and children Neah,& Isaah, Lisa Smith and Sabrina Millis (Kale); son Robin Millis (Roxanne Philibert) and family Tessa, Reid Millis and daughter Annalise, Audra Millis, brothers; George (Merle) Stewardson and David (Ann) Stewardson and numerous nieces, nephews and dear friends at Connaught Village. Shirley was predeceased by her husband William, son-in-law Norman Sumners, brothers Jim Stewardson and Eldon Stewardson and a sister Vyvyan Rheinlander. Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday January 9, 2016 at Wesley United Church 65-11th Street East Prince Albert, SK with Reverend Tony Thompson officiating. In Shirley’s life angels held a special significance, for those that desire, please wear an angel pin for her service. Memorial donations in memory of Shirley may be directed to Charity of Choice.
