The family of the late Roy McAdam regret to announce his passing on March 14, 2016 at Whispering Pine Place Nursing Home in Canwood, SK. at the age of 77 years. Roy leaves to cherish her memory: Seven daughters: Delores (Gene) and their children: Bianca, James, David, Ladonna, Betty Jean, Jesse, Jaida, Jaden; Teresa and her children: Larry, Mike, Patrick, Brandon, Darryl, Tonya, Tess; Colleen (Carson) and their children: Candace, Samantha, Lily, Carson Jr.; Wilma and her children: Tiffany, Courtney, Dakota, Jason Jr, Aiden; Doreen and her children: Elina, Barb, Shannon, Mariah, James, Kaleb, Lorne, Lexie; Angela (Shane) and their children: Madison, Shane Jr, Bam; Sheryl (Cliff) and their children: Cliff Jr, Urijah, Amiz; Five sons: Vincent (Delphine) and their children: Abigail, Leo, Kalen; Lance (Erin) and their children: Nathanial, Jonathon, Jenna, Celeste, Saphira; Dwayne (Cindy) and their children: Jonah, Jerrie, Darci, Jerin; Christopher and his children: Mathias, Crisais, Cyndica, John; Joshua (Lyndsay) and their children: Amber, Mikayla, Tayla; A Daughter in law: Patricia McAdam and her children: Melvin Jr, Laurie, Malachi; Adopted Children: Lisa (Hugh) and their children: Heaven, Faron, Rosalie, Kristianna; Pamela Morin, Burton Morin; 23 Great Grandchildren; His Siblings: Eliza McAdam, Eva (Carl)Lewis, Mary Jane (Harvey) Roy, Joseph (Sherry) McAdam, Elizabeth (Dean) Price. Roy was predeceased by: His wife: Rosalie McAdam; His children: Christina, Larry and Melvin; His grandchildren: Darius Turner, Shamara McAdam; His Brother: Charlie McAdam; His Sisters: Edna Isbister, Margaret Keenatch; His Parents: Sandy & Grace McAdam; His brother-in-law: John Keenatch, Willard Morin; His sister-in-law: Yvonne Morin.
The Wake Service commenced at the Big River First Nations Band Hall on Tuesday, March 15, 2016 at 6:30 P.M. The Funeral Service will be held at the Big River First Nations Band Hall. Big River First Nation on Thursday, March 17th, 2016 at 11:00 A.M. The Officiants will be The Elders. The Honorary Pallbearers are “All relatives and friends who have shared in Roy’s life”. The Pallbearers (Grandsons) will be ; Melvin Jr. McAdam, Patrick Turner, James Ermine, Larry Turner, Brandon Turner, Nathaniel McAdam. The Interment will be in Big River First Nation Anglican Cemetery.
