Cindy, Chad, Jeff... I am so sorry for your loss. I am so glad I had a chance to reconnect with your dad at a function a couple years ago. I told him how cool we all thought he was when we were in kindergarten because Chad got to see him delivering mail at recess. He loved you guys so much... take care and remember, grief never goes away, you just learn to manage it better. Take all the time you need.

Cindy I am so sorry for your loss. I always remember when Rodger would come into Eaton's to see you and how full of life he was. Always had a big smile on his face. My heart goes out to you and your family.
Please accept my condolences on the passing of Rodger. I have many great memories of him - time spent in the shop and at many functions doing sound. He gave me my first sound jobs and many opportunities for learning.
He will be sorely missed.

My dad, Dwight Stahl, was Rodger's buddy and brought me along to golf with Rodger and Cindy last year. Even though I only knew Rodger for a couple of hours, I quickly learned what a caring, compassionate, fun, and funny guy he was! He will be surely missed.

One of the most influential people I have ever met! Best football coach ever! He helped me grow up! Could always rely on him to have a "Big Gulp" in hand. Man you liked your pop Mike! Even though it was over 35'ish years ago, you are very hard to forget. Such a happy guy, and a giver of positivity!! You have many "kids" that will miss you. From all the West Hill little "schmucks". My condolences on the passing of Rodger. He was a remarkable man. I have fond memories of him, having been childhood friends with Chad and Jeff. His musical talents and his mark on the Saskatchewan music scene will forever be cemented in time. I remember him doing sound for many events. My Dad (Barry Scaife) always had good compliments about his work. It isn't easy losing a someone, let alone a father/husband/grandfather at such a young age. May your memories of him comfort you through the days to come.

God's loving comfort from the scriptures brings us much relief and confidence in the blessings of His New Kingdom. At Revelation 21:4, John 5:28, and Isaiah 35:5,6 He promises to end death and sickness and to resurrect our dead loved ones. Soon he will wipe out every tear from our eyes so we can live in peace and happiness with those we love in his promised New Kingdom here on earth. Soon we will have no reason to grieve anymore. My hope is that you can take comfort from God's word and that it will also comfort you when you think of your loved one.

So sorry to hear of Rogers passing. I spoke with him in Feb. and he was very upbeat and positive about life. Enjoyed a quick joke about golf and a few stories of Sunnyside Summers with Ma and the gang. Another reminder that life is so short. Condolences to Cindy and the whole family.
