Obituary of Oscar William Joanette

Mr. Oscar Joanette 1932 - 2016 It is with saddened and heavy hearts that the family of Mr. Oscar William Joanette announce his passing on the 24th day of May 2016 at the age of 83 years. The Prayer Service for Oscar was held on Friday, May 27, 2016 and the Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Saturday, May 28, 2016 with both services being held at the St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church in Marcelin, SK. Oscar was laid to rest with his loving wife Rose in the Marcelin Cemetery. Oscar is lovingly survived by: his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren: ~ Joyce Joanette and her children: Mila; Marc (Jessica); ~ Judy (Barrie) Fiddler and her children: Alicia (Grant Mohr); Ashley (Matthew Camplin) – Jack, Kaleb, and Lila; Brad (Jodie) - Luciena & Emmilia and Oscar; ~ Jeff (Wanda) and their children: Brandi (Jeff Bassendowski); Amber; ~ Neil (Kim) – Chey; ~Jason and his children: Sydney, Jessica and Kyley (Chris) - Casey; ~ Nadine Joanette (Scott) and her children: Jordan and Kali; his brother, Leo (Florence) Joanette; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, in-laws and countless friends. Oscar is predeceased by: His wife, Rose Cecilia Joanette; his parents, Napolean and Dorila (Corbeil) Joanette; his parents-in-law: Dumas Primeau, Flora (Alfred) Arcand (nee: Moreau); his siblings: Albert (Adeline) Joanette, Maria (Robert Petty), Ludger (Lucy) Joanette, Paul (Sadie) Joanette, Cordelia (Lloyd) Cournoyer, Arthur (Augustine) Joanette, Leona (Jim Lyons), Louis (Effie) Joanette, Wilfred (Phyllis; Patrina) Joanette, Eva (Mike Schrieber), Lillian (Gerry Foster), Theresa (Peter DiPalma), Gisele (Alphonse Provencher); his son-in-law, Allan Rebalkin; his sister-in-law, Lillian Hildebrand.
