Obituary of Gary Ronald Genereaux

Mr. Gary Ronald Genereaux 1961 - 2016 With heavy hearts the family of Gary Genereaux, late of Ahtahkakoop First Nation, announce his passing on June 6, 2016 at the age of 55 years. Gary was born to Peter and Dorothy Genereaux on January 26, 1961. Gary is lovingly survived by Shawn (Cynthia) Peekeekoot; Stephanie Genereaux; Stacie (Dustin) Milliken; Jessica Milliken; his grandchildren, Isaac, Austin, Collin, Keeley, Memory, Tiara, Jonathan, and Candace; his siblings, Earnest Poundmaker (Lenora); Darlene Pelletier (Lyle); Frank Genereaux (Adriene); Bonnie Peekeekoot (Eric); as well as numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives. Gary is predeceased by his parents, Dorothy and Peter Genereaux; his brother, Arthur Poundmaker; his sisters, Gloria Morin, Pearl Genereaux; Louise Poundmaker; and Leona Ahenakew. The Wake Services for Gary will commence on Tuesday, June 7, 2016 at 6:00 p.m. in the Ahtahkakoop First Nation Band Hall; and the Funeral Service will take place on Thursday, June 9, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. Interment will be in the St. Mark's Anglican Cemetery with Rev. Marg Hyman as officiant.
