Obituary of Janelle Alma Head

It is with heavy hearts we mourn the passing of Janelle Alma head at the age of 34 years. Janelle was born to Brenda and Cecil Head on May 8, 1982. The Funeral Service for Janelle took place on July 8th, 2016 at 2:00pm from the Mistawasis Family Centre on the Mistawasis First Nation. Russel Sam Badger officiated the service. Eulogy was read by Beverly Wise, and the active pallbearers were Darnell Turner, Kory Badger, John Jr. Sapp, Dale Ballantyne, Glenn Johnstone, and Sheldon Head. The interment followed in the Mistawasis Presbyterian Cemetery. Janelle is lovingly survived by her children, Josie Head, Jazmin Head, Tyrone Head; her sisters, Cheyenne Ermine, Jeannine Head, (Desmond Watson), Morning Dawn Head (Maynard Assiniboine); her nieces and nephews, Tyrell, Diem, Zuri and Mia; her maternal grandmother, Madeline Turner; her paternal grandfather, John Barclay Head. Janelle was predeceased by her parents, Cecil and Brenda Head; her brother, Cody Head; her maternal grandfather, William Ermine; and her paternal grandmother, Alma Head (nee: Bird).
