Obituary of Annie Francis

ANNIE FRANCIS was born Feb 12th 1934 to Cornie and Susan Teichroeb in Saskatoon, SK she grew up in and around the Mildred, Leoville and Chitek Lake areas. In 1956 she began her life with her husband Edward and together they raised 7 children Leo, Irene, Linda, Christine, Audrey, Robert and Darcy. Annie spent most of her married life on the farm raising the kids and taking care of the house as well as the garden and farm animals. Annie took many courses in sewing, wood work and was not afraid to put those skills to use, making mitts, socks and leather moccasins for the kids and grandkids. Annie and Edward left the farm in 1993 and moved around a bit before they made their forever home in Spiritwood. This is where Annie made many long term friends and left a lasting impression on every one. Annie is survived by her children Irene, Linda (Stan) Dahl, Audrey (Neil) East, Bob (Chris) Francis, Darcy (Tammy) Francis as well as many grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren as well as nieces nephews. Annie was predeceased by her husband Edward, daughter Christine, son Leo, a grandson Joey and great granddaughter Ashlyn. Annie passed away on the 10th day of March 2017 in Prince Albert at the age of 83 years. Annie will be missed by all. The funeral service for Annie was held on Tuesday, March 14th, 2017 at the Golden Ring Center in Leoville with Delores Beaulac officiating. Bob Smolinski & Susan Tetreault gave touching eulogies. Darcy Francis was the urn bearer. Memorial Donations in memory of Annie may be made to the Timberland Church or the Evergreen Heath Care Facility in Leoville.
