Mr. Harris McAdam 1947-2017 Sadly on Sunday, March 12, 2017, Harris McAdam, late of Big River First Nation, passed away peacefully at the Royal University Hospital at the age of 69 years. The Wake Service for Harris will commence on Tuesday, March 14, 2017 at 3:00 p.m. from the Big River First Nation Band Hall. The Funeral Service for Harris will take place on Thursday, March 16, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. from the Band Hall with interment following in the Whitefish Catholic Cemetery. Harris is lovingly survived by, his special friend, Margaret Rabbitskin; His children: Rhonda (Shane) Rabbitskin ~ Christopher (Crystal) Rabbitskin ~ Curtis Bear ~ Remona (Ryan) Rabbitskin; His step children ~ Reginald (Carla) Rabbitskin ~ Bernell (Jill) Rabbitskin ~ Valerie (Jeremiah) Morissette; His special granddaughters, Taylor Morissette and Janelle Rabbitskin; His 33 Grandchildren and 3 Great Grandchildren; His sisters ~ Betsy (Paul) Bird & Josephine Bird; His brother-in-law, John Rabbitskin; His uncle, Thomas (Sophie) Rainey . Harris is predeceased by, His mother, Georgina Bird; His father, Peter McAdam; His stepfather, James Bird; His sisters, Beatrice Bird, Alice McAdam, and Doreen Bird; His Grandchildren, Devonah Chamakese, Shayna Rabbitskin, Tyrell Rabbitskin and 2 as infants; His aunties, Mary Anne Lachance, Margaret Bear; His uncles, Andrew Bear, and Louie Sapwassum.
