Obituary of Elaine Louise Hyman

Elaine Louise Hyman 1961 - 2017 With sadness filling their hearts the family of Elaine Hyman announce her passing on May 22, 2017 at the age of 56 years. The Wake Service for Elaine commenced on Tuesday, May 23, 2017 at 5:00 p.m. from the Ahathkakoop First Nation Band Hall. The Funeral Service took place on Thursday, May 25, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. from the Band Hall with Rev. Marj Hyman officiating. The interment was in St. Mark's Anglican Cemetery. Elaine is lovingly survived by her father, Steven Ochipwao; her children, Jesse James Keenatch; Tracey Hyman; Jody Hyman; Sunshine Ermine; Jamie Ochipwao; Danille Ermine; and Tyrone Hyman; her grandchildren, Jessy Jr; Brandi; Jeremy; Kevin; Day and Dakota; Kihew; Kris; Kia-leigh; Brandon; Troy; Shania and Rocky; Natalia and Mia; and Brandi Ermine. Her brother, Richard (Mary-Rose) Keenatch; as well as numerous aunties, uncles, nieces, nephews and other relatives and many friends. Elaine is predeceased by her husband Ronald Thomas Hyman; and her mother, Cecile Keenatch. The active pallbearers were, Kihew Hyman-Kay; Darius Hyman; Jamie Ochipao; Brandon Favel-Hyman; Jesse Keenatch; and Tyrone Hyman. Music was shared by the Ahtahkakoop First Nation Choir, and Pastor Alex Sasakamoose officiated the service.
