Obituary of Travis Raymond Swiftwolfe

Travis Raymond Swiftwolfe 1994 - 2017 With broken hearts the family of Travis Swiftwolfe, late of Mosquito First Nation, sadly announce his sudden passing on May 22, 2017 at the young age of 22 years. The Wake Service for Travis commenced on Wednesday, May 24, 2017 at 5:00 p.m. from the Big River First Nation Band Hall and the Funeral Service took place on Friday, May 26, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. also from the Band Hall. Interment followed in the Whitefish Catholic Cemetery by the river. Travis is lovingly survived by his spouse, Aletha Baptiste; his children Taz, Tate, Taze Swiftwolfe and Leyla Baptiste; his parents Adeline Lewis and Dion Masuskapoe; his siblings, Ashley (Waylon) McAdam, Tiffany (Justin) McAdam, Gunner McAdam, Byron Morin, and Joshua Masuskapoe; his grandparents Frank and June Masuskapoe, his special Uncle Brian Lewis; and all his numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Travis is predeceased by his maternal grandparents, Frank and Jeanette Lewis, his great grandparents Alphonse and Rose Swiftwolfe, and John and Elmire Lewis, and his great grandparents Tommy and Cecilia Masuskapoe.The active pallbearers were, Waylon Joseph, Jamie Chabot, Douglas McAdam, Vincent Spyglass, Lyle Bear, and Sam Masuskapoe. Special music was shared by Travis's uncles from Saulteaux First Nation.
