Dustin "Oddy" Wade Thomas August 23, 1990 - May 23, 2017 With broken hearts the family of Dustin "Oddy" Wade Thomas announce that he passed away suddenly on May 23, 2017. Dustin was born on August 23, 1990 at Spiritwood to Wayne and Marilyn (nee: Sakebow) Thomas, one of six children. The wake service for Dustin commenced at 3:00PM on Wednesday, May 24, 2017 at the Pelican Lake First Nation Band Hall. The funeral service will begin at 11:00AM on Friday, May 26, 2017 at the Pelican Lake First Nation Band Hall with Brother Dwayne Fehr officiating. Interment will follow at the Pelican Lake First Nation Cemetery. Dustin is missed by: his son, Liam Dion Carter Gardypie; his parents' Wayne and Marilyn Thomas; his siblings: Malry Thomas (Eiling Bill), Jesse Thomas (Demsey Bill), Zachary Thomas, Keenan Thomas and Janetta Thomas; his girlfriend, Desiree Joseph; his nieces and nephews: Janaya Thomas, Jasmine Thomas, Elijah Bill, Keeanna Thomas, Jacie Thomas, Tai Thomas and Tessa Thomas as well as his paternal grandfather, Jim Thomas and his maternal grandparents, Billy Thomas (Rose) and Christina Smallboy (Carl Allan) and numerous other relatives and friends. Dustin is predeceased by his paternal grandmother, Bernice Abel and his uncles, Arnold Sakebow and Howard Sakebow as well as other relatives.
