Obituary of Edward Hercules Chicoine

Edward Hercules Chicoine July 16, 1949 – June 8, 2017 It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Edward. Edward was 67 years old with a heart three times his size. Edward was born in Prince Albert SK. He resided in Hoey, SK, and farmed there for many years until one day he met Darlene Lundgren and from then on his life changed, he gained more family and learned to love and care for someone else besides his tractors. Darlene and Edward moved to Prince Albert 5 years ago. He may not have been on the farm farming but he still loved going for drives and checking out all the crops around. He enjoyed "gardening" and "tinkering" around. Edward had many hobbies. He was not a man of words, but when he smiled it was worth so much more. Edward is survived by Darlene Lundgren; his siblings Robert (Patricia) Chicoine, Victor Chicoine, Greg (Annette) Chicoine, Rupert Chicoine, Mark (Elaine) Chicoine, Marilyn (Bill) Lamoureux; his sister- in- law Wendy Chicoine; and numerous nieces and nephews. Edward was predeceased by his parents, Angele & Gaston Chicoine, and his brother Alan Chicoine. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 2:30pm on Tuesday, June 13, 2017 at St Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church, 260-25th Street East Prince Albert, SK with Father Roque Concepcion officiating.
