Obituary of Robert "Kelly" Roy William Henry

Henry, Robert (Kelly) July 8, 1934 - June 10, 2017 Dad passed away peacefully in his sleep surrounded by family at Victoria Hospital in Prince Albert. Robert, also known as Kelly to many, started his first job at Northern Cartage in 1958. After a few years he started working for Mike Harasyn in 1967, where he remained working well into his 70’s. We’ve heard many times when in his 70’s he could still out work any 20 year old. Dad was always a hard worker and great friend to many. Dad was born in Cudworth, Saskatchewan. He was predeceased by his parents Augustine (nee: Vandale) (1989) and Stanley Henry (1989); daughter Linda Henry (1977); siblings Mary (Pat) Primeau, John Henry, Freda (Robert) McBeth, Doreen Scragg, Gwen(Alvin) Peters and Wayne Henry. Also brother in law Joe Frigon and mother in law Dorothy Jenkins, who always treated him as one of her own. Dad is survived by: Children Ron (Sharlene) Henry, Elaine (Mickey) Schwan, Judy ( Mike) McKay and Lori (Mike) Dansereau. Grandchildren Kelly Henry and daughter Natalie Henry; Ashley (Joey) Holbird and children Ethan, Zoey, Emma and Leah Holbird; Cory (Megan) Schwan and daughters Olivia and Claire Schwan; Amy (Dallas) Wilm and daughter Audrina Wilm; Cory McKay; Dallas (Becky) McKay and children Brody and Abigail McKay; Carly McKay and daughter Aurora McKay; Michaela and Jordan Dansereau. Siblings Lynn (Doug) Bindon, Alice Frigon and Raymond Henry. Sister in law Cecile Henry and brother in law Len Scragg . Special cousin Marcel Henry. Friends Dale Harasyn and Bill Taylor. Ex-wife and mother of his children Pat Brosnikoff (nee: Jenkins) Dad was an avid fan of NHL hockey, WWE wrestling and he loved to watch The Price Is Right. In his younger days he enjoyed card playing, fishing, and blueberry picking.
