Obituary of Desmond Martin Watson

Desmond Watson September 23, 1979 – August 12, 2017 It is with great sadness that the Daniels/Watson families announce the passing of our loved one, Desmond (Dez-Buzzy) Watson. Dez is survived by; his wife, Jeannine (Chubz) Head, his sons; Nathanial, Daymond, Tyrone and Diem and his baby girl, Zuri. Dez is the loving son of Debbie Watson(nee-Daniels) and Dean (Cindy) Watson, and a brother to; Melissa (Vince) Watson, Lyndsey (Kady) Watson, Derek (Glenda) Watson, Chris (Jamee) Watson, Richard (Tanya) Watson, Maxine (Kory) Watson, Dustin Pelletier and Deena Watson and sisters-in-law; Cheyene & Morning Dawn. Dez was blessed with many nieces and nephews including special nephews Braedan, Kyler and Jayden. Also mourning his passing are his Grandmother Leona Daniels and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Dez was predeceased by his Grandparents, Louis and Lillian(nee:Sand) Watson, George (Donna) Daniels and Ivan Daniels, his in-laws, Cecil and Brenda Head, Cody and Janella Head, Aunt Muriel (Bugsy)Watson and uncles Dennis (Porky) Moreau and Bryan Hoffer. Dez will forever be remembered as being a fun-loving, laughing, joking and yet a shy young man with many followers loving his hard hitting hip checks as the solid D man for the Mistawasis Warriors. Dez was the best “Bluffer” at the poker table and a die-hard Canucks fan. We will forever cherish our memories of Dez and invite family and friends to join us as we spend our final days with Dez at Chief Mistawasis School the 13th and 14th with funeral service on Tuesday, August 15th at 2:00 p.m. Wake Service commenced on Sunday, August 13, 2017, at 4:00pm at Mistawasis School Gym. Funeral Service will be held at 2:00pm Tuesday, August 15, 2017 at the Mistawasis First Nation School Gym. Interment will follow in the Lady of The Poor Catholic Cemetery Mistawasis F.N.
