Obituary of Devin Lloyd Blair Whitehead

IN LOVING MEMORY OF DEVIN (DEVO) LLOYD BLAIR WHITEHEAD It is with broken hearts we announce the passing of Devin, our beloved husband, father, son, brother, grandson, nephew and friend on Sunday, August 20. Devin was born May 6, 1987 in Saskatoon and lived in Prince Albert his entire life. Growing up he enjoyed playing hockey and baseball and made many lasting friendships through these sports. Many summers were spent at his grandpa and grandma’s cabin at Emma Lake, it was a chore getting Devin out of the water! He loved to watch UFC fights, Jean-Claude Van Damme movies and was an avid Habs fan. The biggest joy in his life and what he considered his shining star was his precious daughter, Marleau. Devin is lovingly remembered by: his wife and partner, Michelle, precious daughter, Marleau; mom, Debbie (John Lundgren) and dad, Darren; brother, Dallas (Katherine Mardell); mother and father-in-law, Karen and Kelly Boisson; sisters and brothers-in law, Darcy (Sherri) Boisson, Brittany Boisson (Keith Pilon); grandmothers, Harlean Chappell and Janice Dubray. Aunts and uncles, Barb (Brad) Orbeck, Tammy (Lee) Armitstead, Darrell Ethier (Kelly Vogt), Blair Ethier. Darlene (Wayne) Michel, Jackie (Eugene) Smith, Debbie (Dave) Hunter, Joanne (Doug) Barmby; Melody (Brent) Kennedy, Terri (Jack) McDonald as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends. Devin was predeceased by his grandparents, Clifford Ethier, Lloyd and Jackie Whitehead, Uncle, Ed Buck, and cousin, Chris Michel. A Celebration of Life will be held Monday, August 28, 2017 at 1:30 pm, Calvary United Church (114 25 Street East, Prince Albert, SK) with Reverend Nora Vedress officiating. Donations may be made to the Victoria Hospital Foundations Youth Mental Health Unit (1200 24th Street West, Prince Albert, SK S6V 5T4) or a charity of the donor’s choice.
