Bianca Catlyn Smallboy 1992 - 2017 Sadly on August 20, 2017, the family of Bianca Katlyn Smallboy announce her sudden passing at the age of 24 years. Bianca was born on October 3, 1992 to Lorna Smallboy and James Bear in Prince Albert, SK. Bianca is lovingly remembered by her: Father, James Bear; Mother, Lorna Smallboy; Sisters and brothers: Margaret, Brandy, Brittany, Summer, Richard, Dustin, December and Jules Smallboy; Brothers: Milton, Gabriel, Bradley and Gilbert Keenatch; Nieces and nephews: Darien Antoine Joe Durocher, Aliannah Laurena Moosomin and Jeriko Gerald Swiftwolfe; Godparents, Tom and Gloria Bear; Aunts and uncles: ~ Maurice and Katherine Smallboy ~ Doris Smallboy ~ Linda Smallboy ~ Norman (Mildred) Smallboy ~ Rose Marie McAdam ~ Leona (Calvin) Smallboy ~ Mary Ann Bear (Martin) ~ Grace Bear ~ Sugil Bear ~ Doris Bear ~ Tom (Gloria) Bear ~ Janet (Fred) Bear ~ Mervin (Donna) Bear ~ Peter (Valerie) Bear; Numerous cousins, other relatives and friends. She is predeceased by her: Maternal grandparents, Joe Rediron and Dora Smallboy; Paternal grandparents, Antoine and Margaret Bear; Uncles and aunts, Leonard Smallboy, Larry Smallboy, Albert Rainey, Gary Bear, Wayne Bear, Bertha Smallboy and Sonya Bear. The Wake Services commenced on Tuesday, August 22, 2017 at 2:00 pm Big River First Nation Band Hall. The Funeral Service was held on Thursday, August 24, 2017 at 11:00 am Big River First Nation Band Hall with the Elders as officiants. Mass followed at Sacred Heart RC Church with Celebrant ~ Father Michael Fahlman. The Honorary Pallbearers were “All family and friends who knew and loved Bianca”. The Pallbearers were; Clarence Bear, Eugene Rabbitskin, Tyler Smallboy, Sheldon Bear, Terry Keenatch, Curtis Smallboy. Bianca’s final resting place will be in Whitefish Catholic Cemetery (by the river).
