Obituary of Michael Malicki

It is with great sadness that we announce that Mike passed away peacefully at the age of 87 years on January 30, 2008. Mike was born on September 1, 1920 in Poland and as a child, moved to Saskatchewan. At an early age, Mike served in the army during WWII. He spent the rest of his life on the homestead in Leoville where he had a farm. However, he spent his last days in a care home in Prince Albert. Mike is survived by his sister, Mary Heidel of Surrey, BC, a brother Walter Malicki of White Horse, Yukon and nine nieces and two nephews. Mike will be buried beside his parents and his brother Emil in the Leoville Cemetery. The family would like to thank all the friends, neighbors, care workers and doctors who helped Mike out in his time of need.
