William "Bill" Skene July 31, 1943 - December 13, 2017 William “Bill” Edward Skene was born on July 31, 1943 at Birch Hills, SK and passed away December 13, 2017 at Prince Albert, SK he was 74 years of age. Bill is lovingly remembered by: His wife, Gloria of Shell Lake, SK, children: Alan (Jessica) of Martensville, SK and their children: Brayden and Carter, Brian of Saskatoon, SK, his brothers and their families:Don (Jane) of Kinistino, SK, Gary (Ellen) of Kinistino, SK, siblings-in-law and their families: Anna Hotvedt, Donna (Robert) Prafke, Asta Schmalz, Neil (Debbie) Hotvedt, Linda Hotvedt, Lilie MacInnis, Deanna (Travis) Moseng also numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives. He is predeceased by: his parents, Jack and Alice Skene, parents-in-law, Henry and Mabel Hotvedt, brothers-in-law, John MacInnis, Lee Schmalz, Bobby Hotvedt and Bernie Hotvedt also numerous aunts and uncles. Funeral Services were held on Monday, December 18, 2017 at 2:00 pm from the Lions Community Hall, Shell Lake, SK with Reverend Brad Wudrich officiating. The Eulogy was given by Allan Cessna and Gary Skene and Mike Skene served as Urn Bearers. Bill’s final resting place is in the Shell Lake Cemetery. Immediately following the services, all were invited to a time for lunch and fellowship in the Lions Hall. Memorial Donations may be made to the Lung Association or to the Diabetes Association in memory of Bill Skene as tokens of remembrance.
