Obituary of Lisa Monique Jensen
With broken hearts we announce the sudden passing of Lisa Monique Jensen on January 12, 2018 in Prince Albert, SK at the age of 47 years. Lisa was born to Peter Trendocher (late) and Loretta Trendocher (nee Heck) November 24, 1970 at Holy Family Hospital in Prince Albert, SK.
Lisa was a Mom, wife, little sister, big sister, aunt, cousin and dear friend to all. She was devoted to her son Wyatt and he was her world. She wanted nothing more in life than to be a Mom. Lisa is survived by her son Wyatt Jensen; husband Joel Jensen; brother Terry Trendocher; sister Jan (Gary Keays), their children Melissa Preymack (Brandon Reimer) and Kalie Keays, and Melissa and Brandon’s children Penelope and Buster Reimer; sister Melanie Trendocher (Christopher Nelson); parents-in-law Joe and Diana Jensen; brother-in-law James Jensen; brother-in-law Mike (Jamie) Jensen, and their children Lisa and Adam Jensen; brother-in-law Jeremy (Cara) Jensen, and their children Emma, Ava and Matt Jensen; numerous cousins, extended family, and many dear friends. Lisa also leaves behind her horses Dash, Keira, Palo, Ruby, Pope, Jewel; faithful companion dog, Tucker; and cat, Angel.
Lisa’s first job was delivering papers in Cudworth, SK, and shortly after that she began her career in retail shoe stores in Prince Albert, SK. She graduated from St. Mary High School in 1988 and attended University of Saskatchewan obtaining her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology. She co-owned and operated Sand’s Septic Cleaning (1997) Ltd. from 1997 – 2005. In 2006 she went for the first time to one of her favorite life activities, High and Wild Horsemanship Learning Adventures in British Columbia. In 2006 she worked at Red River Roping and Riding Arena as the barn manager. She has been on the Board of Directors and still taught riding lessons. In 2007 she began working at the Prince Albert Correctional Centre where she made many great life long friends. In 2012 she began to live her goal, marry her husband and began cattle farming and horse ranching. She also began working for Ranch Ehrlo Society as an Equine Assisted Learning Facilitator. On May 29, 2014 she achieved her life long dream and gave birth to her son, Wyatt. She was then diagnosed with breast cancer and fought it every step of the way, stoic and brave, determined to be here for Wyatt, never complaining or wanting to be a burden to anyone.
Lisa loved. She loved horses, dogs, cats, reading, learning, books, natural health, being home, traveling, friends, alone time, get togethers, bonfires, Girls Riding Weekend, giving gifts, cooking (she made the BEST stuffing and buns), baking, celebrating, country music, rock ‘n roll music, dancing, nature, Christmas lights, “bling”, flowers, anything sparkly or glittery, the color blue, smelling good, being at the lake on the pontoon, jello shots and laughing. She was always smiling and laughing, even when she was yelling.
Lisa had a strong spiritual belief and knew life is short. She lived this life the way she wanted it to be lived.
