When I was young, Irene was our neighbour across the field. I enjoyed nothing more than heading over to visit with her. Always had time to sit and have a snack and a visit. So many great memories of time spent there! I didn't get to see her as much once they moved to Shellbrook, but was always happy when she would stop in to family gatherings - Christmas, Mom's birthday. She was a very special lady to me, and to our family. We will miss her greatly!
