Obituary of Gloria Eileen Mabel Teer

Gloria Teer April 6, 1947 - May 9, 2018 Gloria Eileen Mabel Teer was born April 6, 1947, North Battleford, SK and passed away unexpectedly May 9, 2018, Shellbrook, SK at 71 years of age. Gloria lived the majority of her life in the Spiritwood district. Gloria was a loving wife, mother of 3 and a proud grandmother of 4. She began her working career in the bank then moving on to the doctor’s office and finally to RM of Spiritwood as the administrator for many years. Gloria enjoyed life in the country, worked at Richard’s side on the farm. She always enjoyed camping, quadding, time at the lake and mostly time with her family. Gloria spent many hours quilting and made special gifts for those she loved. Gloria is lovingly remembered by: her husband, Richard Teer, her children: Roxy (Ron) Sawatsky, Kent (Donna) Teer and Chad Teer, her grandchildren: Serena, Seth, Cole and Cace her brother, Daryl (Beverly) Garrison also numerous nieces, nephews and friends. She is predeceased by: her parents, Doug and Anna Garrison, her parents-in-law, Bill and Marguerite Teer, her sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Kathy and Fern Lafond, and sister-in-law, Jean Klics. A Funeral Service was held on Tuesday, May 15, 2018 at 2:00 pm from the Spiritwood Civic Centre, Spiritwood, SK with Delores Beaulac officiating. The soloist was Patty Heisler and Karen Booth delivered the eulogy, Honorary Pallbearers were considered “All who have shared in Gloria‘s life” and the Urn Bearers were Gloria’s Grandchildren: Serena Sawatsky, Seth Sawatsky, Cole Teer and Cace Teer. Following the funeral service, all those in attendance were invited for lunch and fellowship before the interment at the Idylwild Cemetery. Memorial Donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation in memory of Gloria Teer as tokens of remembrance.
