Laia J. Lang March 7, 1939 - July 9, 2018 Lea “Laia” Juliette Lang was born March 7, 1939, Shell Lake District, SK and passed away July 9, 2018, Shellbrook, SK at 79 years of age. Laia is survived by: husband, Roy Lang of Shell Lake, SK and their children: Florence Lang of Edmonton, AB and her children: Luke (Alysha), Abel and Merv, Floyd Lang of Shell Lake, SK and his son: Patrick (Jaeyden) Hupealo of Blaine Lake, SK, great grandchildren: Kira, Kali, Jackson and Zaiden, her sisters: Angie Pouliot of Edmonton, AB and Florence (Ken) Anderson of Prince Albert, SK, siblings-in-law: Alex Lang of Saskatoon, SK, Doreen Dean of Prince Albert, SK, Edward Lang of Spiritwood, SK, Edna Loseth of Shell Lake, SK and Sandra Lang of Shell Lake, SK also numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives. She is predeceased by: parents, Peter and Alice Hamm, her step-father, Walter Fusick, parents-in-law, Wildrew and Margaret Lang, grandson, Nathan Lang and granddaughter, Jennifer Martin, siblings-in-law, Lloyd Lang, Sylvia Lang, Orland Dean, Eileen Lang, Katie Lang, Bob Lang, Wildrew (Evie) Lang and Faye (Walter) Nagel. Funeral Services were held on Monday, July 16, 2018 at 1:00 pm from the Lion’s Community Hall, Shell Lake, SK with Delores Beaulac officiating. The Eulogy was given by Alysha Hergott, Patty Heisler was the soloist and provided music for the service, Luke Hergott, Abel Hergott, Merv Hergott and Patrick Hupealo served as Urn Bearers. All those shared in Laia’s life were considered Honorary Pallbearers. Interment will take place at a later date. Immediately following the services, all were invited to a time for lunch and fellowship in the Lion’s Hall. Memorial Donations may be made to the Lung Association in memory of Laia Lang as tokens of remembrance.
