Obituary of Greta "Toody" Marie Turner

TURNER – Greta Greta ‘Toody’ Turner passed away after a brief illness on Sunday July 29, 2018. Toody was born in Wadena, SK. on December 17, 1938 and raised on the family farm. Debden became home in 1962 when they were transferred from Meadow Lake. She retired from the Credit Union in 2001 and then spent many enjoyable summers after that at the lake with grandkids coming and going. She leaves her daughter Lana & Paul, sons Kevin & Nicole, Shaun &Yvonne and Scott; Grandchildren Chezanne & Dylan, Kamden & Jake, Stephanie & Brennan, Tessi & Jovie, Stacey & Jolan, Myer & Sabbeth, Erica & Norbert, Isla, Shanelle & Byron, James & Jacob, Parker & Chalayn, Ella, Braidon, Peyton; Her Sister Maren and Brother Arne; Siblings in law Iona, George, Edith, Helen, Garth & Linda and many nieces & nephews. She is predeceased by her Husband Ron; her parents Elizabeth & Peter; Sisters Margaret and Elsie; Brothers Hans, Nels and Pete; Parents in law, Jim & Alice; siblings in law Wilfred, Gordon, Eileen, Milly, Dave & Denny. The Memorial Service will be held Thursday August 2, 2018 from St. Jean Baptiste R.C. Church, Debden, Sk. at 1:00 p.m. with Delores Beaulac as Officiant. Soloist will be Gilles Francoeur, the eulogy will be read by Granddaughter Chezanne Shewchuk and a reading by Granddaughter Shanelle Silzer. The Urn Bearer will be Scott Turner. Memorial donations may be made in memory of Greta to either the Debden Heritage Manor or the Debden Cemetery Fund.
