Obituary of Leon Joseph Bonneau

Leon Joseph Bonneau April 21, 1942 - October 16, 2018 We are saddened to announce the passing of Leon Bonneau on Oct 16, 2018. He leaves his wife Rita, his children Tina (Darren), Roger (Margo), Kim, Leila, Lillian (Marc) and grandchildren Jared, Matt, Davin, Alayna, Janel and Teanna. He was predeceased by his parents and numerous brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews. Leon spent many happy years in the communities of Leoville, Debden and recently Morin Lake. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He was an educator and administrator by profession and had a lifelong passion for learning. Throughout his life he was a bird watcher, wood worker, carpenter, athlete, fisherman, hunter, bee keeper, plumber, village mascot, gardener, berry picker, bowler, volunteer and an active community member. The Funeral Mass will be held at 2:00pm on Friday October 19, 2018 at Notre Dame des Victoires, Victoire, SK. Interment will follow at the Victoire Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, those wishing to make a donation in memory of Leon may do so to the Sacred Heart Parish, Big River First Nation, SK.
