Obituary of Philip "Phil" Dufour

Philip "Phil" Dufour June 5, 1942 - October 21, 2018 Phil was born June 5, 1942, in the Victoire Dist., SK and passed away October 21, 2018 in Shellbrook, SK at the age of 76 years. Phil is lovingly remembered by his wife, Donna, his children: Shelley (Colin) Allard and their children Nicholas and Megan, Sandy Dufour (Sandy Hunter) and their children: Casey and son, Axel, Alexa (fiancé William Giesbrecht) and Liana, son-in-law, Gerry Karasiuk and his children: Becki (Kyle) Krentz and children, Addison & Lucas, Jodi, step-daughter, Robin (Bryan) Briere and her daughter: Riley (Brody Hewitt), step-son, Trevor Storozuk, his brother, Miller (Nancy) Dufour, his sister, Laurence Dufour also numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by: his first wife, Lorraine Dufour (nee Charlebois), his daughter, Lana Karasiuk, His step-son, Dean Storozuk, his parents, Stanislas and Laurette Dufour, his brother, Fred Dufour (Pat Hillman) and infant sister, Virginie. The Funeral Service was held on Saturday, October 27, 2018 at 1:00 pm from the Spiritwood Curling and Bowling Mezzanine, Spiritwood, SK with Delores Beaulac officiating. Patty Heisler was the soloist and provided music for the service, Phil’s daughter Sandy Dufour gave the eulogy, honourary pallbearers were his grandchildren and Phil’s grandson Nicholas Allard served as urn bearer. Phil’s final resting place is beside his first wife Lorraine in the Spiritwood Cemetery. Following the interment, the family invited all present for lunch and fellowship in the Mezzanine.
