Obituary of Ronald Marcel Bauer

BAUER – Mr. Ronald 1950 – 2018 Sadly, on November 4, 2018, Ronald Marcel Bauer, late of Blaine Lake, SK passed away at the age of 68 years. Ronnie was born on March 3, 1950 in Hafford Hospital to Catherine and Charles Bauer. He was raised on the Bauer family farm and attended school in Blaine Lake, SK. After school was done, he made a career with the Department of Natural Resources for 35 years. Ronnie retired from them and continued to work for local business including, Gabe’s Corral Cleaning, Blaine Lake Hardware, and the Liquor Store. Ronnie was active in the Blaine Lake Community and was always eager to lend a hand to friends, neighbors and family. Ronnie enjoyed the outdoors and was an avid hunter and fisherman. Ron is lovingly remembered by his siblings, Jean Johnson of Fort McMurray, AB and children: Edward, Tommy, Linda and Marlene; Walter Bauer of Port Alberni, BC and children: Michael, and Kelly; Teresa (Maurice) Clouthier of Marcelin, SK and children: Gabe, Wade, Linda, Darryl, Glen, Sandra, Lyle, and Randy; Beatrice Bauer of Fort McMurray, AB; Julia (Steve) Simon of Saskatoon, SK and children: Shelly, Chris, Cindy and Stewart; Raymond Bauer of North Battleford, SK and children: Shawn, Sherry, and Mandy; Norman (Regena) Bauer of Melfort, SK and children: Myles and Rebecca; as well as numerous other relatives and friends. Ron is predeceased by his parents, Catherine and Charles Bauer; his brothers, Edward, Joseph, and Marcel. There will be a Memorial Mass held for Ronnie on Friday, November 9, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. from St. Andrew RC Church in Blaine Lake with Father Frederick Akah OMI as Celebrant. Ronald will be laid to rest in the St. Andrew Roman Catholic Cemetery at a later date. Following the service there will be a time of lunch and fellowship at the Blaine Lake Seniors Centre. In lieu of tributes, memorial donations may be made in memory of Ronnie to the St. Paul’s Hospital Foundation (1702 – 20th St. W, Saskatoon, SK S7M 0Z9).
