Kevin Gerald Cyr
July 9, 1968 – February 15, 2019
Kevin (Chim Chim) is now looking over his wife Sheila Preston; his children and grandchildren, Jeremy Cyr (Marg) and their family Adam, Nixon, Carter, Abby; Jordan Cyr (Ladawn) and their family Emma, Camden, Heath, Brynn, Bodhi; Chelsea Cyr; Mark Preston; and his “baby” Peyton Cyr. His mother, Hilda Cyr; and his sisters, Karen (Kiersten, Zane) and Shelley and family.
Kevin left a great legacy behind with his family, through his artwork and all his relationships with family and friends. He touched everyone in a special way. He had a positive outlook on life even when health issues arose. We the family would like to thank all that were a part of our lives.
Born on July 9, 1968 to James and Hilda Cyr, Kevin lived on George Gordon First Nation before settling in Prince Albert and starting a family. He worked as an artist and was a gifted story teller. Kevin had a big heart and a beautiful way with words. No matter the occasion, he always had sound advice and a story to share. He has touched the lives of many and will continue to do so through his artworks that hang in our homes. Kevin had a passion for art, sports, sharing, nature and family. He was a strong, kind, compassionate and loving man, son, brother, father, papa and friend.
